she wants to be safe
safe from all the looks
safe from all the ridicules
safe from all the comments
so she locks out the world
has her ivory tower unfurled
she built walls thinking it was right
no matter how much we fight
we only wanted to protect
the life she tries to resurrect
but she pushed us away
where we are forced to stay
but she is not alone
for her enemies are in the stone
the stone that now surrounds
sealing her onto these grounds
she tries to escape the walls
ignoring her self imposed laws
doing whatever it takes
to rectify her mistakes
calling out all night
hoping someone would help her fight

just when she had given up hope
she was answered by this dope
he doesn’t fight for her
or the feelings she stirs
he fights for a vow he made
and a debt that had to be repaid
he was once saved from himself
and they did not ask for wealth
only that he save others
become the world’s big brother
he refuses to lose
its simply a path he will not choose
he will save everyone
and this girl is simply number one

I'm hooked!!! I love the urgency in it and the suspense that it builds. It's like a book you can't put down, and it keeps the reader wanting more, leaving them to wonder just what will happen next.
