A touch & quiver ; the cold, a shiver,
the tears, a river ; your eyes, a sliver.

The day, it turns ; the flame, it burns,
the thought, it churns ; the heart, it yearns.

A drop & rain ; a wound & pain,
the world, a bane ; you try in vain.

Life, it kneels ; you feel and it feels,
love, it heals ; love, it heals.
