A great example of less being more in this piece, Jack - this senryu expresses all that needs to be said... :)

The pic, though, reminded me of those Valentine cards kids distribute, which got me thinking about an episode of the Simpsons... :)

Hi Jack. You paint a vivid picture with this well crafted traditional Senryu. Perfect 5/7/5 syllabic form that's so smooth and romantic. Very good use of brevity. Good presentation.
