Dreams

I dream of growing wings and flying
High above the clouds.
I dream of jumping up one day
And not coming back down.

I dream of finding love so true
That love itself grows green.
I dream I'll visit far-off places,
Seeing things I've never seen.

I dream my dreams in black and white,
And sometimes shades of blue.
But lately all my dreams revolved
Around one subject: you.

I dream of waking up each morning,
Safe within your arms.
I dream you'll always hold me close
And rescue me from harm.

I dream of trying all new things
With you right by my side.
I dream I'll fall in love with you
And just enjoy the crazy ride.

I dream our love will never end
Or ever fade away.
I dream the moon and stars at night
Will never look the same.

My dreams now resound in color,
Replacing black and white and blue.
But there's no need for dreams for me
Because you made my dreams come true.
