I-

I-

A Poem by jellyvalmont

I fly through the trees

With all birds and bees

I climb the walls

With no stregth needed at all

I tear through the air

There is no need to care

For i have lost what is mine

My body, blood and mind

A surprising and intriguing snatch of poetry. It summons-up avenues of thought. What manner of thing is this "I" that can do all these things and yet be nothing at the same time..? Perhaps some kind of spirit... I'm inclined to think along the lines that maybe the only true freedom such as this can only be gained by having
"...lost what is mine
My body, blood and mind."

Thought-provoking, and snappily delivered without sounding crass.
