In the Dark

In the Dark

A Poem by James
"

Warning might be a trigger to some

"

Blood trickling down my leg

Like the rain on the window

The sky outside darkens

And my soul follows suit

Lightning reflects off the blade

It shines in the abyss

Something to hold onto

Something to show me life

Shadows engulf the room

Like the pain inside of me

Loser, useless, weak, coward

The prevailing thoughts I hold onto

Curled in the corner

Hiding from the world

Waiting for someone

To turn on the light

Pax
it shows a deep depressive state of mind...
in darkness, there will be dawn...
hope, until that day will come
faith, that no matter what light will indeed come...

well expressed piece...
