I will not write in anger

I will not write in anger

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I have to remind myself.
Words are meant to be spoken in beauty.
Tell a story.
Petals falling on quiet water.
So I take a breath.
Attempt to create a peaceful moment.

You have captured my own struggle in such simple terms. There are plenty of loudmouths yapping over so many outrages of our current times & I don't want to be just another one of those noisy megaphones. This is a good reminder to be the change we seek. Or if we can't do that, then at least criticize using fun-spirited humor! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie
