Ghoul SchoolA Poem by john l smiththe value of educationGhoul School Wee vampire failed
his test at ghoul school And jumped up
and down yelling, I’m not a fool Then as his
fangs had started to drool He yelled out
again, I’m quitting school He howled and
yowled like a crazy wolfhound Then kicked
over a tomb burial site mound The silence
was deafening as the tomb opened wide Scarred hands
on ravaged arms reach out from inside Dead eyes hung
over the tombs open ledge Accompanied
by an odor, right on the foul edge A black spirit
snake coiled out round his feet Opening its’
mouth, with an aim there to eat Then a ravaged
hand grasped round his neck And poor wee
vampire turned into a wreck Get back in cruel
school, you damn little fool Came from the
remains of the mouth of the ghoul That shock
and awe made him hustle his a*s And he’s
since graduated at the top of his class © 2018 john l smithReviews
