Beach weather

Aldon Altogether had a problem

With our endless inclement weather

He seemed to be forever cold

And was always bundled in a sweater

Since no kinfolk ever came round

And with the issue of cold weather topics

It created a major readjustment to his optics

To’ard a location, relocation down in the tropics

With no overtly outward visual impression

Other than that of constant depression

He ran an ad in craigslist for sale

And sold each and every possession

Now lying daily, on a tropical beach

With cold weather permanently out of reach

Has brought a bright new shine to his skin

And constant visits from long lost kin

             Looking for free accommodation

How ironic and so very true. Relatives and old mates from his old cold land. Hoping for a free holiday in the sun.
