Prom

Prom

A Poem by Kelsey Desmond
"

Asking.

"

 Well...

Not much to say now, I guess.

Well....

All I want if you to cherish,

Me.

So maybe we could go out sometime.

You know, tomorrow's prom night.

I don't have a date, and I heard you didn't, too.

So maybe we could go together, me and you.

So maybe its not the end anymore.

It's not too late, no, it's never too late.

Because I love you.

Don't you love me?

No? You don't?

Well, I don't have to go to prom.

I guess I was too excited...

Asking you was wrong.
