Tension

Tension

A Poem by writ rajat
"

Tension is an inevitable aspect of life

"
Tension is everywhere ,
in the environment like air,
reason behind writing these line in red,
you can find it in space,
and also inside your bed,
To avoid it try the following steps,
because I am writing it in blue,
do not consider it completely true,
Now the font color is green,
in my life many tensions I have seen,
finally I am coming to the point ,
here I can't treat any pain in your joint,
for next line I am choosing the color red
because after publishing the poem I will fled,
for reading the first step you have to close your eyes,
wait!... then how will you read ,
don't worry I will tell you what you need,
step 2 is very simple ,
after reading this you will show a dimple,
so bring out a pen and paper ,
if you have a baby then change his or her diaper ,
make a list,
and close your fist,
beat the written things.
go to your bed because I am going to sing,

Wise advice shared. I liked the steps shared in the poetry for reading. I use notebook for the original. I liked the use of notes. Helpers later. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

You need to look into the conventions of structured poetry. The idea is that the rhyme is the perfect line to express the thought, and just happens to rhyme.

There's a LOT more to writing it, which you're not addressing, like stanza length, prosody, and more. So a bit of time spent digging into the conventions of poetry would be time well spent. After all, you can't use the tool you don't know exists. And as the great Mark Twain so wisely observed, “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”

A really good place to begin is with the excerpt from Stephen Fry's, The Ode Less traveled, on Amazon.

Not what you were hoping to hear, I know. But poetry, like fiction is a journey, not a destination. And in our schooldays we learned very little about the process and tools of the field.

The good news? You can learn them as easily (or with as much trouble, I suppose) as the writing skills you learned in your school days.

I love the feelings this writing evoked. Like a whole life in a nutshell... Tension is a nasty uninvited guest that keeps popping at the door...luckily, there are ways to combat it, and writing and singing is one of them :) Lovely :)

it isn't the words or their color that is most important, it is the feel provoked by the words..it is the colors inside that we feel from them.
