"An Adult Matter"

Let's grow up.
Hold my hand- dont.
I'm scare- I'm ready now.
No, we grown ups dont bleed, no, we grownups dont cry.
we dont need anything, we dont heed reason.
periods and apostrophies, creation and atrophy.
we are a species, and the young ones they dont understand, they always need to hold our hands, coz experience has taught us, that they way your brought up- we speak big words so you cant hear us, we make you think we know what we're doing, but we dont know, we step on demon crap and fall into so many traps, but you dont see them, coz we wanna protect you, so let us protect you.
but these young kids, they know so much
its getting hard for the element of trust
they dont know what love is
they dont know how hearts break
they just know
phone screens
and fortnite dreams
who cares
who are you
you were never here for me
all a sudden you wanna break the silence, and all a sudden you want me to know what your name is, when all this time, you got me going  out of my mind, wondering if youre still there, were you really here in the beginning?
