Taken, Mistaken, Occasionally Unintended

Taken, Mistaken, Occasionally Unintended

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

. nothing is kept .

"

in pictures taken

with too much light exposure

your chin can blend into your neck

, it, can be like, a meta-f*****g-"fore"

for personalities

who confuse the f**k outta me

(and each other) and you

with overly conflicting exposures

of persons mistaken

for being taken

     for things unintended

ted bundy never knew,

what was real life...

that we live beyond pictures

and not everything is numb

that we really aren't alone

pictures are just taken

that nothing is kept

we are not just for us

nothing is kept

ya fuggin' psychopath

Had I not read below I would not have known that it was about psychopaths. Except for the picture of Ted Bundy I guess. I like your opening, the metaphor for personalities. To be neckless means that you can't turn your head to see, and if you only see what's in front of you, never see the whole picture. It's like saying 'look around you at what's going on in the world'. anyway, that's what i got out of this. that was my favourite part

Hah, Ted did have a misconception on life, he was just determined, in my opinion, as most psychopaths are, to watch the world burn, as Michael Kane has said, instead of realizing there's more to life than destruction and that there are better things to seek or survey.

Pictures, the frozen piece of time, the good the bad and ugly always carry their names in the stills of movement, but such rage when unappropriated people missuse its beauty

Like these lines...
'that we live beyond pictures
and not everything is numb
that we really aren't alone'
