Reflection

Reflection

A Poem by indu
"

..Somehow I love this poem a lot

"
It isn't the sun smudging
just a reflection of some light.
It doesn't matter
though, my legs touch it.

I'm holding you tightly
just a reflection of some drink.
It isn't wine.
just a grey liquid.

A veil of bubbles die down
and an image appears
stir it,
again again.

Look,
they return to die
and she reappears,
again again.

No,It isn't me!
or, is it me?

-silence-

and the tongue turns grey.
"You taste bitter", I say
As I drink from my reflection.

This was a good poem. I think it has some underlying pain within it. This was very nicely written. Thanks for sharing. :()

Intriguing……
Very deep….
I liked the indirect way of expressing the theme….
A lot of images…spun together to create a nice poem….
