Taking Chances

There's him.
The safe choice.
I would be guaranteed a healthy,
Fastidious,
Easy relationship.

Then there's you.
The Insidious choice.
It would be an adventure.
Difficult,
Fractious relationship.

Both would be worth while.

He's the risk-free choice.
You're the perilous choice.
Guaranteed a fairytale ending with him.
Then again,
What's life without taking chances?

This almost seems like a pro-con list. I think that it could be written more poetic.. right now it reads a prose, and not even poetic prose at that. However, I WOULD say that this is well written... it just lacks the rhythm and wording of a poem.
