Holding On

Pain,

It's blinding me

And my arm are out

Reaching for anyone,

Anything,

to hold onto.

Someone to pull me up,

Dust me off,

And carry me when I fall.

So here I am,

Stumbling in my own blindness,

Lost in my own home.

Who's gonna help me out?

Who will show me how to see?

And who will hold my hand the entire time, not letting me fall anymore?

Don't wander too far.

I can't let another one slip away.
