Heart vs soul

For all my dreams have shown
The future is my golden star
My subconscious plans a different path
Do I dread the after math?

When your heart and soul disagree
Do you cry and break
Or do you battle on your steed
As the lonely nights mess with your mind
Are you killing the dreams you and your subconscious had

For my heart desire may be made believe
And my subconscious is telling me what is plain to see
And all the feelings I didn't want to believe

Confused and stressed
Breaking at the seams
Y'all know the rest
Let to the tears fall to the ground
I now don't care whose around
