I remember

I remember

A Poem by Manasa.L

I remember them,
the day when I first
laid my mind on you.
The day I felt that
I was made for this.
The moment I wanted
to be in your realm.
Yet distressed
of my incapability.
You were so subtle,
made me
even more vulnerable.
But here I stand now
urged to intact myself.
Being chosen from you,
gives an immense pleasure.
And intend me to
be a skillful one.
Never again will
back down from the
milieu of writing.
The words have made
me stronger.
Realize what I am
and what I want to be.
I will remember this day
as the prolific day
of my life.

This I see a true masterpiece. Just from the ways you put the words together like a giant puzzle that all fit together. Magnificent!

this is very good. i agree with Tony that a few of your word choices don't seem to fit although they are great words that you have used.

if you really want to be a writer then pursue it. i think the best way to be a writer is to be a reader & observer using your mind, eyes and heart.

Thank u Mr.Yetts your words has truly made me more determined than before
Very intriguing. Words do indeed empower people, some more than others, and you definitely show that in this piece. Also, your authors note says that reviews decide whether you can or cant write, but I dont agree. Even if you got bad reviews, keep writing! The only way to improve is to keep going. Good job :)

Thank u Andrew for your noble words
The words - intend, intact and prolific seems to be poorly employed Manasa.
Apart from that this is a good poem filled with a message of finding inner strength in the face of adversity.
Well done.
