The Crucifiction

The Crucifiction

A Poem by A Lost Man Found
"

It's a modern day interpretation of an ancient history.

"
Evergrowing crowd.
Very large, Their cries become loud.
Evil, kill him, kill him, He ruins all!
Now quiet down y'all!
Demands pilot, first name Ponchas.
Even he thinks that this is unrighteous.
Absolutely insane,
Timeless flip of the brain.
He has been whipped, My Loving King.
Can't someone be listening?
Anyone anyone hear what he said?
Now there are thorns upon his head.
Now they are calling for his death.
Outrageous! Are they all on meth?
They now impale his precious flesh!
Dangerously, I say I know I am blessed!
Every day he calls on me
For him I live so all can see
Every single way God blesses me.
And he'll be back I just know it.
This comin to you from Gods' true poet.
He's back, now what did I say?
I've sinned, But it's washed away.
My time is now. Stop and pray.

Love it and love the acrostic message. Cool stuff. Love the modern spin on it. I think you might like my poem "Martyr: Carrying the Cross". Kudos on yours. :)
