Misconceptions

Misconceptions

A Poem by meganelizabeth23
"

Many people conceive us wrong and make us out to what they want us to be that's why we have to fight and break free

"
Many say i am an activist, but I protest
Many say I am a lover, but I fight,
Many say I stay, but I am a drifter
Many say I am calm, but I am secretly raging,
Many say I am normal but they don't know me
Many say I am free but I am not,
I am a protestor for what's wrong and evil
I am a fighter for what I believe in
I am a drifter, a lost soul longing for HOME
I am a raging storm when I justify
I am crazy and passionate
I am caged as a little dove

The only identity we have in this world filled with 7 billion people is our unique individual self and we must fight to protect it... I really like the voice that spoke in this poem... A beautiful presentation of a heart that wants to stay true itself...

Sincerely
Dhiman

Never stop being who you are. If they don't like it they can find someone else to try and control. More people should read this and find strength in your words.
