Luv (Villanelle)

Love comes in many faces to me, one in a face of my beloved cool male pug, Luv.

He loves me since he was 3 months old,

those big rounded eyes just told me so,

pumps my heart until now almost 10 years old.

 

How someone could forget a puppy on his 3 months old..?

a cute attractive active figure for a puppy as people know,

who loves me since he was 3 months old.

 

A Zorro is his name, and Luv as he’s called,

he accompanies me for the high and the low,

pumps my heart until now almost 10 years old.

 

Sometimes I see him as someone who is old,

like my grandpa or my pa, those old people who I know,

he loves me since he was 3 months old.

 

And another time, I see him as my beloved Lord,

not in appearance but from the love that he shows,

pumps my heart until now almost 10 years old.

 

Still I treat him as my forever baby boy thou,

How could I not treat him so..?

He loves me since he was 3 months old.

And still pumps my heart until now almost 10 years old.

A very lovely poem.

Any animal lover should identify with this one. There really is no love like the unconditional love that a dog can give us. They love us on our good days, they love us on our bad days, and all the indifferent days in between.
For me, on the saddest days of our lives, our dog will always be there, wagging that tail, doing everything they can to make us happy again. Canines........just wonderful animals.

I did. She left me eighteen years ago, now. Not a single day goes by, when i do not think of her, and all the love and joy she gave me. Irreplacable.

Oh so deep love.
So far, I have lost my 2 cute female pugs.
I always have a thought that they will be waiting for me in Heaven and prepare a place for me in there. Kinda a naughty thought, right..?
I think, God can not say "No" to them for doing so...Lol
Yeah, their love are irreplaceable.

I hope, your little one is one of the bestie friend of mine in there.
Until our time come again to play with them...

Love this tribute to your lovely pug. I especially love the reference to the older loved ones, since a pug has such an "aged" looking face at any age! I also enjoyed the comparison to our Lord, since pugs are one of the loving-est breeds of dogs, really showing us what it feels like to be loved, no matter what.
