God's Nuclear Winter Without Verbs

God's Nuclear Winter Without Verbs

A Poem by Gerald Parker

Up and about on the eighth day,
time for a stroll in the dark,
across the wide windy waste
of ice-bound body parts.

Infinitely better than Pompeii.
A smile of triumph on his face.
Peace on Earth at last and no more
f*****g prayers at midnight.

This paints a stark picture of where we are heading. The anti religious overtones may suggest either a non believer and Darwinian or the opposite, someone who sees God as all powerful and fed up with his humans. Thus he punishes them by placing them in a nuclear winter.
