Too Young for Love

They say I’m too young for love

Too young to know how it works

Too young to make the right choice

That love is for when you grow up

 

What is love then?

Is it not the feeling of pure happiness?

Is it not the feeling I have for my family and friends?

Is it not for everyone?

 

Who is to say that I have no ability to love?

If I’m not allowed to love, why should I live?

What is my heart to do without desire for happiness?

What is my mind to do without someone to take over my thoughts?

 

It’s true, I don’t understand love

Nor do you, or anyone else in this world

Yet, children love before they talk

And even the stupidest of animals have someone to love

 

Love is not just for certain people

Love knows no age, type or species

Love requires simply one thing,

A Heart

This is completely and utterly the truth, Abby. Love is the most beautiful thing two people share, sometimes they might take it for granted but most of the time you would go to the ends of the earth for that person. I think you can be too young for love but it depends on how mature you are.

This was amazing. These same thoughts come to me everyday. Every time I wake up and right before I go to bed. The criticism of my inspiration and what I love, get pondered everywhere within time and hope that someone realizes that no one or anything is "too young" to love or is unworthy of doing so.
