Our Gran

A poem for my late gran who died on 17/10/2012

Gran we remember you in different ways,

especially with that fun-filled face.

You brought us joy, love and laughter;

which will keep with us forever after.

Alzheimers a disease we hate the most,

for making my gran into a ghost.

Now in Heaven with your family,

I know when called upon you will be here gladly.

Now looking down on us from Heaven,

with us all wishing we was seven.

Playing badminton, football and cricket too;

but catch a ball you had no clue.

We wish you were here forever more,

but we all know you had to go.

Gran we wish for one more day,

which you are when we Pray
