By the sea

By the sea

A Poem by L i am

As I walk down by the sea
Listening to the waves, so peacefully
Looking for shells and stones too
That can tell a story of something new

As I walk down by the sea
A family plays so happily
Building sandcastles in the sun
Then playing cricket and having fun

As I walk down by the sea
A donkey working so tirelessly
Walking up and down the sand
With a child upon it feeling grand

As I walk down by the sea
Children having ice-cream, sitting quietly
Their faces covered from top to bottom
With a cheeky smile which rises among them

As I walk down by the sea
Time passes by so endlessly
Sunbathing, relaxing and sleeping for some
But for me it's walking when I have most fun.
