WINDING DARKNESS

WINDING DARKNESS

A Poem by Huggy Bear
"

A road that become dark to light

"
A door appears
At first glance within is pitch black
Hesitant at first I move forward
Before lies a long dark winding road
On this road
Many obstacles are laid out with care

Some are obvious
Some are hidden
Some traps are easy to avoid
Some sadly are hard to overcome

Many are stuck
Never knowing the sweet truth of success
They cry to the sky
Looking for answers to their struggles
When all hope is lost
A fierce light blankets the sky

I shield my eyes from the light
When the light dimmed
I see the landscape's mood become cheery
The souls that became lost have been found
Hope floods the land
All is well

The poem is amazing. The description made the words come alive. I like the positive ending. A outstanding poem. We need to see the good in the world and leave the B.S behind.

I really love this poem and it is very descriptive. The door opening to a winding road is a great way to start this poem plus it is something unique.
