Within My Mind

Within My Mind

A Poem by Huggy Bear
"

“Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today." -James Dean

"
I dream vividly
In my mind all things are possible
In my mind I am master of my own destiny
There is no question of my own individuality
Comfort is in abundance here in my mind

Within my mind I see a possibility of an utopia
Free of suffering, guilt and hate
In its place are the truest forms of happiness
love and trust.
These emotions are never tainted nor twisted
to fulfill evil desires
In short my dreams are my true world
Reality is nothing more than a nightmare

I feel sorry for the kids growing up in the time of war. I was raised in the time of Vietnam was alive and strong. Held the dream of Utopia. Was part of the early seventies people dream. Your last line is true. Hard to see any good in our world. A excellent poem.
