Paper Swan's Opus

Paper Swan's Opus

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Paper Swan's Opus

Swimming

 On music pages

Paper swan sleek and majestic

Glide onward

No longer the ugly duckling

Ripples of notes play the tune

Opus

I can only think of one word: - Classical.

As I'm reading, my mind plays only classical music that speaks millions of words.

Can be described in one word; majestic.

What a beautiful little creation! The picture, though it is in the words as well, is brilliant. Love the idea of "gliding onward" being a metaphor for what we do in life...nicely done!
