Burst

Been feeling sad

I feel trapped

Like air in a bubble.

Sooner or later,

I will burst.

And when I do,

All of the darkness I have kept inside

Will no longer be a secret.

It scares me.

I just wish

There was another way to live.

No,

I wish

I didn't have to live.

I never wanted to want that,

But I finally do.

That also scares me.

I thought

I was getting better,

I really did.

But apparently,

I'm still the same old me.

I can't escape the darkness.

I can't escape myself.

I just started writing my feelings and this happened so yeah :/

I can relate to this. I have my own struggles that I feel like this poem can apply - one more day and I may explode. Thank goodness for journals and fandoms to keep me distracted for the meantime. In short, I just love this poem! It's good to talk about our feelings and it is very therapeutic.
