Gone to the dogs.

Gone to the dogs.

A Poem by Onlyme
"

deteriorating or gone awry.

"
Yet another young person has lost his life
to violence on our streets.
Going out for a nice night,
with his mates.
Gets into an argument
with someone and now dead.

Society has lost its grip
on reality.
Our Government is run by idiots
let alone,
a bad joke in general.

And the police are not even proper
police anymore,
doing their job to the max.

You report a crime and get a crime
number and that is it.
As well as for some crimes they
will not even come out to see you.
The judges in this country
pussyfoot around real criminals
and they hardly do prison time at all
and when they do, they get colour TVs
radios and home comforts to dawn
their rooms.
This country should be more like
America with the death penalty
in general for some of the crimes
that happen in this place.

No wonder Great Britain is Fucked UP Now.
It's not "Great" anymore and never will
be again.

God help the youngsters is all I can say.
The future is grim here in the UK.

There is much here at the moment to concern ourselves with. Many of these killings are related to drugs. That battle is being lost and has been for years. Vast amounts of money are wasted on trying to tackle it. It needs radical new thinking to get rid of the gangs. I actually believe it would be better to legalise some drugs and invest the money saved in policing it into education and rehabilitation programmes. That would take the dealers off the streets and reduce drug crime and violence. Only problem is those scummy people would find something else to replace it. What a sorry state we are in. Don't talk to me about the justice system, it is crap run by morons. You:ve got me wound up like a corkscrew Dawn:)) Good afternoon to ya. Sounds like you are fed up to.

Dawn,
you speak with the haunting thoughts and phrases of the prophets of old. It seems the Western World has turned in a direction of self-destruction . . . "and everyone did what was right in their own eyes."
Without real hope and meaning so many turn to addictions as a means of escape from a world going blind in its madness. I personally have chosen to accept the world for what it is . . . lost. Do I care? Yes . . . so I put my prayers toward people to know the Light, the Truth, the Way. I have given up on politicians showing us the light . . . the human effort to "be good". I must not let this world harden my love for people into a fossil, a petrified
emotion. America has no more the answer to our condition than the UK. We are a violent nation . . . lost in our obsessions for comfort, convenience and lust for all kinds of momentary pleasures. This is not to say that the entire population is walking around with air in their heads . . . . many well meaning folks are still standing against the approaching darkness. Yet, I choose not to hand wring. I cannot give in to fatalism. Sorry if this sounds like preaching . . . it's what I have chosen to pursue.

my goodness...and i feel our country is on the downtrend completely...but you paint such a grim picture with this...
drugs, gangs, terrorists, bad government....life in this decade deteriorating so much.
it's so sad...someone who needs to should see this rant...those who understand will read and relate to this...those who need to read it and understand and do something...they will have no clue.
