About Me
Started reading and writing poetry while in the Army many years ago. I picked up a book of poems by Leonard Cohen in a bookshop on Monterrey CA's Fisherman's Wharf and went on from there. I've had a number of poems published in small journals under the name T.P. Bird. I believe poetry is a means of witness of the life and the world around us and our telling of those experiences.
Please don't send me a read or friend request if you don't plan on returning the favor or leaving a revue or comment on my poems. The purpose of this site is to share . . . which is a two-way street.
