The Sheer Reality Of You God

I love you, thank you

Empty out my barren mind

Some more

though it didn't seem possible

and what is pain on top of pain

but more

 than any mind can handle

This morning has told me 

"Tomorrow"

This evening has told me

"Now, today"

The world has told me to forget I belong here

and God, You make me want to stay

open all of the windows in the basement

let Your light shine down, encompass me

and turn off all the music and the screens now

I only feel free when You're with me
