Purely descriptive poem of how he makes me feel... I think. Haha.

The Way You Make Me Feel

Walking with my head held high,

Talking animatedly till I am bone dry.

But when I’m with you, I just try and try,

All that comes out - a frustrated, shy sigh.

Glares and stares, I can do them in a snap,

In my eyes, anyone feels like lost in a trap.

But when you look at me, it only takes a clap,

Averting my blue peepers under this white cap.

Jesting with me, I simply counterattacked,

Laughing so hard until my voice cracked.

But when it’s with you, I always get sidetracked

Cause you make it feel full - my urinary tract.

I used to hate the feeling of being in my school,

I just wished to sit whole day on my piano stool.

But when there were you, I banished this ground rule.

For all I want is to look at you and drool like a fool.

Before there were you, I retire early at night.

I didn’t have thoughts of turning feelings to a write.

But when you came along, everything just felt right,

Every piece of my mind, you haunt it like a mosquito bite.

Totally random. I just described how he makes me feel, but with rhymes! HAHA. Well okay, I don't drool. =)) Enjoy and tell me what you think about it.

Ah. Teenage love. And thirties love and sixties love. It's all the same. When you meet someone and begin to fall we all feel like this. You have summed up a universal feeling perfectly. Superb job, and nicely handled.

lol you don't drool but apparently he makes you want to pee? i like it it's cute. there were a couple lines that seem grammatically wrong though i'm not sure if that was on purpose or not >< good job.

Aww, i remember i wrote classic love poems for theguy i actually fell head over heels for, everyone who has read my more beginner writes would know the trauma i had because of falling for the guy that made me get all dressy for after school, how he made me feel so great when he just smiled at me :)
I hope it all goes well :) Great poem and I loved the font btw :)
