Lady Lizardo

Lady Lizardo

A Poem by prodicallife

Just a random thought to my pages.

A lady

Who used to get up early

Used to prepare the breakfast

And dress up fairly

She was a still pond

Everything maintained to limits

Nothing beyond

It’s been 15 years

For when I saw her for the last time

It was 21 miles of Omaha

At the entrance of hotel prime

One suit

King size bed, a bottle of red wine

 A do not disturb tag

And a tie pin with crystal shine

A thrust, to figure out

As she was fading out

Walking briskly ahead to meet the waiting person

An escort speaking softly, “ma’am he is waiting out”

Almost four hours by the clock

Called for that plot to end

She was nowhere to be seen

That got me to suspend

Finally an image

Raising through the end of the corridor

Dressed up in entirely different outfit

Walking dead with the floor

Was she assaulted?

Was she molested?

Was she rapped?

The thoughts

In my mind were so loud

That she passed me a smile over

Their sound

I could not

Figure out, why  the lady of values was

High on heels

Low on care

She was into a new world

Which she never dared

I slopped to her room

That was an expensive suit

She slept with a different shadow..

“She was no more that lady of values but

A rentable LADY LIZARDO”

Oh wow!...the end was a surprise. You captivated me with this piece. The questions were intriguing and so was the weaving of suspense...I wanted to know 'who is this woman?'. Great write!

Good to read your poetry again. Always a interesting tale. I guess the Lady Lizardo needed some income. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
