The reason why nature both fascinates and frightens us is because it does not speak aloud, despite having much to say . . .

This is very true - many of our problems have arisen because we have become detatched from nature. Perhaps it is our acquisition of language which we see as a sign of 'intelligence' but has perhaps introduced a barrier between us and nature.
A simple but profound message!

Alan

'His Haniwork
Pete,
It is a clue, the unspoken but inner hearing we recieve when wood and awed by this amazing world and it's beauty. Why? Is it actually a clue? We receive something within us when we give ourselves the permission to be alone within solitude's retreat.God does speak to inner heart of mankind. Great writing.
Blessings,
Kathy

I truly wish nature speaks once in a while so there can be humility in the world. A powerful and beautiful writing.
