Southern Comfort

Southern Comfort

A Poem by Breanna Ragland

Baby, You're killin' me
It's always one thing after another.
You know I need ya more than air
But lovin' you's makin' me suffer.

There ain't nothing wrong with a couple sips.
I love the warmth when it hits my lips.
It's never enough when I say I love her...
So, I'll cozy up with some Southern Comfort.

You scream and shout like I'm the only one
But this fight ain't one sided...
We both did wrong.
I'm hurtin' baby, I know you see...
And what your doing here, ain't okay with me.

There ain't nothing wrong with a couple sips.
I love the warmth when it hits my lips.
It's never enough when I say I love her...
So, I'll cozy up with some Southern Comfort.

I'm gonna drink till the last damn drop
I'm gonna keep goin' till its all gone.
I ain't waitin' for you this time 'round.

There ain't nothin wrong with a couple sips.
I love the warmth when it hits my lips.
It's never enough when I say I love her...
So, I'll cozy up with some Southern Comfort.
