There have come times in my life where I find it difficult to forgive myself for all of the burdens I have placed on others. Regret is one of the strongest emotions that can hold us back from happiness. When you have sinned, it is not like you can forget it. Sure, you may not think about it sometimes, but it's always there. And when the pain returns, you can't merely look away.

Sometimes, falling apart is the appropriate response, from my experience. However, we have the choice to leave ourselves shattered or pick up the pieces again, reforming a "you" that isn't nearly the same, but is you regardless. Because life still goes on. The world is still spinning. The possibiliries of a new future is there, only if we decide to stand up and find it.
