TERRIFYING AND WONDERFUL

TERRIFYING AND WONDERFUL

A Poem by Sir Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

terrifying and beautiful

feeling one half-dream appearing

to fully admire

flows rush down moon beam

in all the ways are

beyond the stream

hidden dream

through the air

hidden hand, please

no corner inner self moves

don't take away this shelf

nimble, quick wit

clouds and wind

inner ghost instant

humble from it

fire and rain

a long way below

to shears dark above

terrifying and wonderful

feeling one half-dream ahold

to fully admire

here to enter

standing there

the whirling mist

to which becomes

found, lost

and whispers softly

to the sparkling blue

soothes emotions

wavy waters

white foam

on the bare feet

sand flying

through the breeze

bask in the sun

terrifying and wonderful

feeling one half-dream awake

to fully admire

o' how memory serves

five senses are well meaning

the days rave

up the sleeve wears

for heart's sake

i could not tell

rainbird's faint words

within me i go

unroll my scroll of

grass and grains

cuts are real

on a wall alongside

a walk beating

in time to this thought

just passing through

terrifying and wonderful

feeling one half-dream aware

to fully admire

oh, to carry on all along on

or that to sing sweet on, fly

a small poem if so

it's sad to leave

i love you all, bye

i am beginning again

day-breaks

in solitaire

redefining me

considering the kindly

rainbow is still up there

to spare us

sometime to see a change

terrifying and wonderful

feeling one half-dream real

to fully admire

His promising action fast

enlivens something

put upon high

near a stone

flow down beyond connecting

the stream lines each sides

i don't care why

won't care why

on the sand

of sunshine

on the sand

of moonlight

i unwindingly goes on earth

faster around

terrifying and beautiful

feeling one half-dream as well

to fully admire
