MERMAIDS

MERMAIDS

A Poem by Marie

Queens of the sea...

Mermaids

Silver singing barely heard

Through the ocean’s roar:

Mermaids praise Diana

On a distant shore.

Past the crashing waves,

Under surf and foam,

In dark crystal caves

Mermaids make their home.

Queens of ancient legend

Set the waters free;

From their rocky thrones

Mermaids rule the sea.
