A breathe of Releif

A breathe of Releif

A Poem by Sadani Atapattu
"

This describes the feeling of freedom, just lying idle in the garden ground, after long busy hours of work.

"

The grass so tender

Against skin slender

Staring at the sky far away

Ablaze by the sun on its way

The fragrance of blossom

Amidst the wind lessen

Pains of the past

Conjuring peace wish would last

In the garden of serene

Witnessing a magical scene

Yet real and alive

And rare in busy life

The mind so empty

No sorrow, stress nor apathy

With nothing to encumber

As if awake in slumber

Lying alone idle here

Free from trouble so familiar

This glory of freedom glee

Forever I shall plea

After so long time

Won space in my life

To open my eyes toward

Hidden beauty of the world
