Carry Her Home

Carry Her Home

A Poem by schnickythep

To JB

"
Yeah she's a survivor
Born into a living hell
Everybody gives her second looks
But you might never tell
May be a little crazy
But her heart's good as they come
And through everything tryin to get her down
She'll never say she hasn't won

And she still tries every single day
To take anyone else's pain away
Cause it gives her a break
From all of hers
And through all the crap life throws her way
She barely keeps the wolves away
But even still the life
She lives is hers

More than her share of problems
All try to bring her to the ground
But she always seems to come back fighting
If she ever starts falling down
I know it can't be easy
To do everything she can
Cause she does anything in her power
To help anyone she can

And she still tries every single day
To take anyone else's pain away
Cause it gives her a break
From all of hers
And through all the crap life throws her way
She barely keeps the wolves away
But even still the life
She lives is hers

Most of the time she stays together
But when she can't she's not alone
Cause everyone who's life she's touched
Would drop everything to carry her home

And everyone who knows her
Well I know they will agree
She deserves much better than what she got
It can't be hard to see
