"

a little fun demented murder mystery

"

The contents from this demented tale, will keep you awake all night.

Your heart and soul will become possessed with seven sins of fright.

Let us add in blood, guts and make it very gory.

With all the clichés of a classic horror story

Now as the candles burn out the mystery has just begun

Let’s solve the murder of the catholic nun!

Let us say a pray for sweet Sister Navarro

Whose life ended so young with dread and broken sorrow.

Did she die at the hands of the sinister old gluttony Priest?

A very manipulative, disgraceful, and sexually unholy beast!

Was it the altar boy with a secret past of pride, greed and lust?

Who betrayed Sister Navarro circle of biblical size portions of trust?

Or lastly was it Sister Sophia who spiritually thought she knew it all

Whose weaknesses of sloth, envy and wrath were  leading to her down fall?

All these deadly sins between these culprits put Sister Navarro in a grave

Her sacred crucifix stabbed into her neck of a life unable to save.

Her poor body was mangled and mouth shaped to form a scream

Her eye sockets were hollows, her mind escaping into a dream

Each culprit had their reasons for the nosey Nun lips would not remain silent

So one stormy night her life would end so violent.

A bible placed beside her lifeless decaying head

As the once wooden floor was now covered in red

Now to solve her murder through the chills you’ll see her ghost

Take a tour through the Catholic Church and she’ll become your host

And seven deadly sins will enter your heart and soul, possessing it with fright

As we end this demented tale I promise you won’t sleep tonight!

I want to read this mystery! Your rhythm and rhyme draws the reader in just as much as the idea of this twisted tale does. There is a feeling of the reader being the sleuth, moving smoothly and quietly through an investigation of murder.
Nice work, I really enjoyed this.

Very well put together. Operation mindcrime went through my head in the beginning but I discovered a more sinister path until the end.

Nice to see you offering another tale in rhyme. :)
