Bury Me Alive

Bury Me Alive

A Poem by wolfie

The years that have flown seem so long
The collection of memories don't hold as much value
The despondency and risks are no longer euphemisms to my childhood
Rather
A sudden development, a need to take stride the world
Searching for "happy" accidents to come across
With one silent wish held in stagnancy at the back of my head and heart
Where the arrows hit my vitals
Where the one who pulled the notch wasn't me
Where I can close my eyes and not hear the cries
As they bury me tonight
