Plea for a Redo

Plea for a Redo

A Poem by sharkster8069

You say for you, true love will never be,
You say, you never had it from me,
If I didn’t before, love, I can now decree,
So that, I will have to disagree,

You fought, so long for thee,
Now you have it, but yours is gone I see,
Repeating the same song, I’m down on one knee
Sorry, I did you so wrong, please don’t flee,

I don’t know what to do,
Can’t think of life, without you,
I know everything I put you through,
A result of something, you never knew,

All I want to do, is make it up to you,
What I did was truly undue,
My mental, has had a breakthrough,
I know, my love, I withdrew,

You’re my soulmate, you hold my hearts key,
I knew on our first date, looking over the city,
You were not sure, could this be a we,
You finally succumb, to my consistent plea,

Started to build a life, kids we had three,
The life we built, I guess was crappy,
Only taking love, a parasite like a flea,
This was a result, of untreated ADHD,

To you, I have been untrue,
Tricking you, with my voodoo,
Seems now, there’s nothing I can do,
Seems as if, we are really threw,

Please tell me that it is not true,
You no longer love me, your threw,
It is completely, up to you,
But please, can you give me a redo?
