Feathery Orchestra

Feathery Orchestra

A Poem by KAREN
"

A wooded area of peaceful music!

"

Binoculars to eyes watching

feathery elegant birds.

Some are flying high above,

others are swooping down over the water.

Many are perching in trees.

Songsters fills the forest with spectacular music.

Rich liquid pharases spill into the air.

Extraordinary nightingales flutter around,

leaving love and longing in hearts.

Power of voice are the canaries.

Bright yellow and yellowish greens

decorate the sky.

Melodious music lingers.

Skylarks are blithe with spirit,

singing as it soars around,

it's vertical ascent hovers high above.

Bubbling music of it's own,

mocking birds mimic's through the trees.

Champion of art as it repeats itself.

Masked like bandits, yellowthroats

bellow out witchery, witchery,

echoing cherished songs.

Medley of colors are finches.

Inaudible chirpy, buzzy voices

fills the earth with their lively dispositions.

Synonymous owls filled with wisdom,

insight and virtue.

Vocabulary of sounds surrounds the night.

Sparrows are chirpers,

making unmusical sounds.

Represents the love of God

Binoculars to eyes watching,

and now listening as I take a front row seat  to the

feathery orchestra show.

Very creative. Orchestral is right-- nature is a sort of symphony.

A beautiful poem. In your words I could hear the birds singing. The gifts of nature are free and easy. A wise person can walk outside and see the beauty of a new day. A very good ending to a outstanding poem. Thank you.

This is the perfect description of Hawk Mountain.
What a peaceful serene place. All of your cares just melt away there.
