Rose Petals

Rose Petals

A Poem by Carlee
"

A poem about the girl f*****g over the guy this time instead of the other way around.

"

Silly, silly boy.

You thought she actually loved you.

How could you think such a ridiculous thing?

A compliment here--a wink there.

It didn't take her long to have you did it?

Silly, silly boy.

She knew it too.

With her petal soft skin.

Bedroom eyes.

And a lingering touch on your skin that just can't be an accident.

Silly, silly boy.

I'm sure for a time you were amusing.

It's not your fault for having a heart.

It's alright to cry.

Silly, silly boy.

Silly boy don't cry.

No one can blame you.

For running away.

Too much rejection..

No love injection.

I know a lot of girls only write poems about girls getting their heart broken by guys, which is perfectly understandable, but I wanted to try and see it from their shoes. If you can guess what song and movie the last four lines are from, then your awesome level will go up +5 xD it's my favorite movie EVAR. RAWR. SEXSHI CROP WHIP <3 and there is symbolism in the title CATCH IT. I DARE YOU.

This may not necessarily be taken as point of view from the other side, but still a good write.....
