Autumn Nights

Autumn Nights

A Poem by Norma M Sutton

golden leaves
fall like rain
acorns rattle
beat and bang
rolling down my roof

frosty crisp
windows so white
hold my breath
frozen delight

moon beams
strike and bounce
dancing on window glass

winds howl
and trees groan

long warm summer days are gone

Awwww I've never been able to experience autumn since I live in a tropical country and I've only seen it in movies or pictures, my relatives in Europe complain about the cold and the rain though... But I guess that's part of it :)
Thanks for the fabulous read

Fall comes quickly. I like the cool nights. The days and nights seem to slow down. A beautiful description of the season Fall. A excellent poem.
