Who You Really Are, or Once Were

Who You Really Are, or Once Were

A Poem by thisXgirlXcanXrawr(:

As life goes on,

Mysteries about your life,

About your past, are being told.

One by one,

Day by day,

You begin to find out

Who you really are,

Or who you once were.

But nothing or no one

Can change who you are

To this very day.

Your action in the past

Have made you a monster.

And that's what you will stay; a monster.

The meaning of life now

Means nothing to me

Because the real meaning has been hidden,

Hidden for years and years,

Beneath these lies

That have been unspoken.

Author's Note

thisXgirlXcanXrawr(:
I wrote this poem after i found out some information that i never thought possable to believe. I was so confused and angry at the same time, trying to figure out if i should believe what i now knew about this person or believe the lies they had told me. The way this poem is written it sounds calm and understandable. I took all i was feeling at the time and put it into this poem. There is so much more beneath it that what it may seem.
