Fragile

Fragile

A Poem by the_(in)sane_one
"

I've noticed sometimes insensitive people attempt to help someone but due to misunderstanding end up hurting the person more than helping.

"

Cold as a marble statue but still sentient

Careless interactions had her surrounded

Their questions weighed heavily on her mind

The wind once whispered her answer

Now it has fallen silent

So she stands as still as a statue

Cold, always cold

Cold like stone

Opaque like stone

But fragile like glass

A amazing poem. Such power and strength in your use of the words in your poem. I had to read a few times. Every line made the poem stronger leading to a very good ending. But fragile like glass.

hmm...very short yet profound. It was like there was more to the poem then what you wrote but you didn't need to write it because we got it anyway. It's hard to explain but I like it! It's a lot different than any other poem I've read. Nice write! :)
