Political Siege

A nation divided by communism

Became a family united by freedom

As we put a halt to dictatorship 

And rebelled against the system

We took back what was ours.

Today however,

Things aren't that great

Corruption plagues our nation.

Fighting against the system 

Is a tough battle to carry

People try to stand strong.

And here we are

At the mercy of unjust leaders

We're the blind followers.

We had to stop what we were doing to see what we had done.
